INTERVENTION: The sample will consist of 60 patients aged 18 to 65 years, who had at least one endodontically treated tooth in need of restorative intervention with 50% or less of the coronal remaining. Patients will be randomly allocated to receive one of the 3 selected tooth treatments (n = 20): G1) Adjustable fiberglass post to the root canal + Filtek Z350 XT composite resin, G2) Conventional fiberglass post + Filtek composite resin Z350 XT and G3) only restoration with Filtek Z350 XT composite resin. For teeth that confirm the posts, the filling will be removed leaving 4 mm of remaining filling. The posts will be cemented with self‐adhesive resin cement. For the restoration procedure, exclusive conditioning of the enamel will be carried out, application of Universal adhesive and restoration with composite resin using the incremental technique. The evaluation will be double‐blind, and for the clinical and photographic evaluation of the restorations, two calibrated and experienced professionals will use the criteria of the United States Public Health Service (USPHS) modified in the period of 6, 12, 18 months after carrying out the restorative procedure. The adaptation of the restoration and post will be evaluated during the same periods as the clinical and photographic evaluation. CONDITION: C07.793.237 Pulpitis PRIMARY OUTCOME: It is expected to find greater longevity in treatment with intraradicular retainer for the rehabilitation of endodontically treated teeth, clinically evaluated; by photography and dental radiography. Data will be observed in periods of 6, 12 and 18 months post intervention. SECONDARY OUTCOME: No secondary stages expected INCLUSION CRITERIA: Participants aged between 18 and 65 years old; both genders; with adequate oral health; who had endodontically treated teeth with 50% or less of coronal remaining
