INTERVENTION: E07.101.036 Experimental group: 30 participants will receive the application of elastic bandage on the anterior leg and this will be maintained during a run training session. Control group: 30 participants will receive a placebo application of elastic bandage on the leg without therapeutic indication, and this will be maintained during a run training session. The randomization will be done through sealed opaque envelopes by a person who does not have any contact with the participants and assessors. And the interventions will be implemented by a different researcher of the evaluator. CONDITION: C05.651.426 Medial tibial stress syndrome ; C05.651.426 PRIMARY OUTCOME: Pain reduction in the leg after a race training session assessed by visual analog scale, pressure algometer, McGill questionnaire and numerical pain scale;; Maintenance of ankle dorsal and plantar range of motion after a race training session measured in weight bearing positions.; Maintenance of plant arc after a race training session measured by the navicular drop test.; SECONDARY OUTCOME: Secondary outcomes are not expected INCLUSION CRITERIA: Sixty athletes that run during their training; the run training occurs at least three times a week; presence of the medial tibial stress syndrome induced by sports practice for at least six weeks and pain on palpation in the distal posteromedial border of the tibia.
