Role of Selected Indian Herb and Spice Fortified Dark Chocolate on Exercise Induced Oxidative Stress of Athletic Individuals

INTERVENTION: Intervention1: Ashwagandha root and Fennel seed fortified dark chocolate: Fortified chocolate will be given to the athletes before exercise for 6 weeks (30g/day). Control Intervention1: Normal Dark chocolate: Normal Dark chocolate will be given to the age and se Xmatched control participants for 6 weeks (30g/day). CONDITION: PRIMARY OUTCOME: TNF alpha ; Superoxide dismutase ; Total antioxidant capacity ; Creatine kinaseTimepoint: Baseline and 6 weeks SECONDARY OUTCOME: 1. Vo2ma X(kg/m2) ; 2. Heart Rate ; Timepoint: Baseline and 6 weeks INCLUSION CRITERIA: 1. Participants should be free from any chronic diseases. 2. Physically fit for an active life and exercise. 3. Participants should not consume any drug regularly. 4. Participants should have a normal BMI 5. The participants should follow a regular dietary pattern. 6. Participants should be non‐alcoholic and non‐smokers.
