CRD SUMMARY: The authors concluded that there is evidence supporting relaxation training and cognitive-behaviour therapy, and weaker evidence supporting supportive therapy and cognitive therapy, for anxiety disorders in older adults. The limited number of studies for some interventions, a synthesis focused on positive results and the lack of a quality assessment make the reliability of these conclusions uncertain.
