Year 2022
The primary aim of this clinical trial study is to examine the effects of earlymobilization training given before abdominal surgery on mobility, pain and comfort ofpatients after surgery. The secondary aim of the study is to examine the effect ofmobilization training given before abdominal surgery on the sleep of patients aftersurgery. Research Hypotheses are:H11. There is a difference between the mobility scores of the patients who were given andnot given pre‐abdominal surgery training.H12. There is a difference between the comfort scores of patients who were given and notgiven pre‐abdominal surgery training.H13. There is a difference between the sleep scores of the patients who were given andnot given pre‐abdominal surgery training.First, the patient's mobility status in the preoperative period was evaluated with thesescales. "Early Mobilization Training" will be given to the patients in the interventiongroup in the preoperative period. "Early Mobilization Training Material" to be preparedby the researcher will be used as training material. The training content will includeinformation about the techniques and points to be considered about turning from one sideto the other in the bed, sitting on the side of the bed, standing on the side of the bedand walking in the patient's room, and the time spent outside the bed on the day ofsurgery and the first and subsequent days after surgery. After the patient's mobilization on the first day after the operation, the PatientMobility Scale, the Postoperative Mobilization, the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) questionsquestioning the pain and comfort during lying and sitting, and sleep status will befilled.
