INTERVENTION: D01.339.431.374.424 It will be a blind parallel study. 100 patients will be allocated through randomization in blocks of 2 and 4, according to the tray use protocol. One group will have the upper and lower trays with individual use, while the experimental group will receive the treatment with simultaneous use, that is, the trays will be used in both arches at the same time. Patients will be instructed to use the 10% hydrogen peroxide whitening gel once a day for 30 minutes for 14 days and after use, rinse with water. CONDITION: E06.420.750 Tooth discoloration; Dentin sensitivity; Gingiva PRIMARY OUTCOME: Satisfaction of patients undergoing at‐home bleaching, with the simultaneous or individual use of trays. Data collected initially, weekly for two weeks and one month later, through a sequence of questions using the VAS scale (0‐10). Values will be presented as mean and standard deviation. SECONDARY OUTCOME: Absolute risk of gingival irritation. Data collected during 14 days using the VAS scale (0‐10). Percentage of patients with irritation will be called the absolute risk of gingival irritation. Number of patients who report spontaneous pain at any time during 14 days, using the VAS visual analog scale (0‐10). Percentage of patients with pain will be called the absolute risk of dental sensitivity. The difference in color between the baseline condition and 1 month post‐bleaching will be assessed by Vita Classical and with the Vita Easyshade spectrophotometer. Data will be presented as means an standard deviations. The intensity of dental sensitivity will be assessed through the records made by patients using the VAS visual analog scale (0‐10). Values ??will be presented as mean and standard deviation. The intensity of gingival irritation will be assessed through the records made by the patients using the VAS visual analog scale (0‐10). Values ??will be presented as mean and standard deviation. INCLUSION CRITERIA: Age between 18 and 60 years; good general and oral health; vital healthy teeth; minimum color A2; agree and sign the informed consent form (TCLE).
