Prevention of auditory deaf: a project of human resources capacitation

The lack of prepared Human Resources to deal with the prevention, as well as with handicapped people, led us to consider the alternative forms of intervention. Among them, we developed a project of Human Resources Capacitation, of which activities involve the Course and Orientation of Work afield. This experience developed with day nursery professionals, was complemented by the obtained results. Through these findings, we could notice that from a carefully prepared plan, it was possible to reach a high level of involvement and consequent sensibilization and capacitation of the participating professionals, in the field of the Attention to the Auditory Function and to the benefit of hard of hearing people
