Clinical Efficacy of Acupuncture Combined with Chinese Medicine Enema in Treatment of Chronic Pelvic Partitis Meta Analysis

Objective: To systematically evaluate the clinical efficacy of acupuncture combined with Chinese medicine enema for chronic pelvic initiatitis. Method: Retrieving the full text database of Chinese journals, the full text database of Chinese science and technology journals, PubMed and EmBase database on acupuncture combined with Chinese medicine enema for chronic pelvic initis published in February 2016, and using systematic evaluation and meta analysis methods. Result: This study was eventually included in 12 randomized controlled trials of 942 patients with chronic pelvic inflation.Meta analysis showed the total effectiveness of acupuncture combined with Chinese herbal enema for chronic pelvic vitis [Combined ratio (odds ratio, OR) =6.32,95% Trusted Interval (confidence interval, CI): 3.96 to 10.08, P/ 0.00001], cure rate (combined OR=2.69,95% CI: 2.02 to 3.59, P0.00001) were superior to the control group. Conclusion: Acupuncture combined with Chinese medicine enema for chronic pelvic inflammatory treatment is better than that of Chinese medicine only, but this conclusion requires more quality randomized double-blind controlled experiments.
