Curative effect of Danshen Decoction on chronic pulmonary heart disease with heart failure and its effect on blood gas index and cardiac function.

ABSTRACT: OBJECTIVE: To observe the efficacy of Danshen decoction combined with conventional western medicine in the treatment of heart failure due to chronic pulmonary heart disease and its effect on blood gas indicators and cardiac function. METHODS: 170 patients included in the study were randomly divided into treatment group 1 (83 cases) and treatment group 2 (87 cases). Treatment group 1 was given conventional Western medicine, and treatment group 2 was given Danshen drink on the basis of conventional Western medicine. After 15 days of treatment, the efficacy and changes in blood gas (PaO2, PaCO2, PH value), cardiac function (LVEF, LVEDD, LVESD, E/A, 6-MWT) of the two groups of patients were observed. RESULTS: The total effective rate of treatment group 1 was 81.93%, and the total effective rate of treatment group 2 was 93.10%. There was a significant difference in the efficacy between the two groups (P<0.05); after treatment, the PaO2, PaCO2, PH value, LVEF, LVEDD, and LVESD, E/A, and 6-MWT were all significantly improved, and there were significant differences compared with this group before treatment (P<0.05), and the improvement of the above indicators in the treatment group 2 was more obvious, and compared with the same period after treatment in the treatment group 1 There is a significant difference (P<0.05). CONCLUSION: Danshen decoction combined with conventional western medicine has significant clinical efficacy in the treatment of chronic pulmonary heart disease and heart failure.
