Increasing transcultural competencies in psychotherapists trough a web-based training program: a randomized controlled trial

INTERVENTION: Group 1: Training group (IG): Starts immediately with the six‐week online training "Training to improve transcultural competencies among psychotherapists" (newly developed, web‐based training program) Group 2: Waitlist control group (WL): Waiting for intervention to start; waiting period lasts a training period (6 weeks) + 1st follow‐up measurement (2 months), i.e. a total of 14 weeks after the first measurement point. INCLUSION CRITERIA: 1) a current psychotherapeutic activity in order to be able to carry out the practical exercises 2) internet access 3) sufficient knowledge of German to be able to work on the training materials 4) sufficient time and motivation to work regularly on the training for about 1‐2 hours every week for 6 weeks 5) completed or (for at least one year) ongoing training in one of the psychotherapy guideline procedures, recognition according to PsychThG in Germany or equivalent degree from abroad.
