The effects of ginger for prevention post-operative ileus after hysterectomy

INTERVENTION: Experimental Drug,Experimental Drug Ginger (Zingiber officinale Roscoe, 500 mg per capsule) (Abhaibhubejhr, Thailand) will be assigned to the group. Drug dose was 2 capsules three time after meal. Treatment will start when the participants start drinking water along with ERAS protocol and then continue until she can eat properly, start flatus and no symptoms of bloating, nausea and vomitting.,The participants will receive treatment protocol based on ERAS society recommendations. Ginger with ERAS protocol,ERAS protocol CONDITION: Ginger, post‐operative ileus, hysterectomy Post‐operative ileus in hysterectomy patients ; Ginger, post‐operative ileus, hysterectomy PRIMARY OUTCOME: The average duration after hysterectomy until resolved bowel function 12 months after end of intervention Hours‐days SECONDARY OUTCOME: Quantity of solid diet that patient can consume after hysterectomy 12 months after end of intervention Portion INCLUSION CRITERIA: 1. Female aged 18 years and older 2. Attend hysterectomy operation (both open and laparoscopic approach, both benign and malignancy disease cause) at OB‐GYN unit, faculty of medicine Siriraj hospital
