INTERVENTION: Acupuncture Other Participants will initially conduct an assessment to collect the demographic and clinical data (analyzed by the Fugl‐Meyer Assessment Scale and the Mini‐Mental State Examination, to be included in the study, performed by a blinded evaluator). Subsequently, they are allocated to the control and intervention groups. They will also be informed about all the rules and objectives in the same way, so that they are instructed with the free and informed consent term. The patient will be taken to a suitable place to stay in the dorsal position and perform a 15‐minute rest period to collect the heart rate, and then the bioenergetic measurement of the acupoints in the same position will be performed. For the measurement of muscle activity of the biceps brachii with the EMG, the patient should sit in a chair with feet flat on the floor, backs resting and elbows at a 90 degree angle. The location at which the electrode will be fixed is 1/3 (bottom to top) at the medial line between the acromion and the elbow line. The reference electrode will be placed in the lateral malleolus of the right lower limb. After locating the points, before attaching the electrodes (the distance between them should be 20 mm) with a tape or a rubber band, the tricotomy and cleaning of the site with 70% alcohol will be performed in order to decrease the impedance to avoid interference and allow better signal acquisition. The electromyographic signal will be performed in the resting position, in isotonic contraction and in maximal voluntary isometric contraction. After the fixation of the electrodes, 3 collections will be performed at rest in order to verify possible interferences in the place. In this collection the arm will be supported on the legs, relaxed. Three samples will be performed to evaluate the isotonic contraction, the patient will receive a 1 kg shin splint in each arm, the initial position will be with the arms parallel to the body, elbows extended and forearm in supination, CONDITION: Stroke, not specified as haemorrhage or infarction Stroke, not specified as haemorrhage or infarction ; Stroke, not specified as haemorrhage or infarction PRIMARY OUTCOME: It is hoped to promote the bioenergetic balance of patients with chronic stroke, using the acute effect of scalp acupuncture, observing changes in the results of electromyography SECONDARY OUTCOME: Secondary outcomes are not expected. INCLUSION CRITERIA: Both genders; age above 30 years; sepsis of spastic hemiparesis; degree of moderate motor impairment as assessed by the Fulg Meyer scale; perform computed tomography to determine the area of the injury and clinical diagnosis; good cognitive ability; injury time over 3 months; sensory impairment assessed by the Fulg Meyer scale.
