INTERVENTION: Intervention: oral mirtazapine 30mg taken daily at night for up to 4 weeks, 4‐5 , 1 hour sessions in 4 weeks for structured cognitive‐behavioural therapy for cannabis dependency plus sleep diary for the first two weeks. Monitoring cannabis withdrawal especially sleep disturbance with a sleep diary for the first two weeks. CONDITION: Cannabis Dependency PRIMARY OUTCOME: Cannabis use (self report, urine testing). Other drug use (self report, urine testing). SECONDARY OUTCOME: Retention in counselling INCLUSION CRITERIA: Cannabis dependence.
