Role Of Montelukast In Management Of COVID 19

INTERVENTION: Intervention1: Montelukast: 10 mg Montelukast tablet daily at bed time for 10 days Control Intervention1: Placebo: Similar looking palcebo tablet at bed time for 10 days. CONDITION: Health Condition 1: B972‐ Coronavirus as the cause of diseases classified elsewhere PRIMARY OUTCOME: 1. Progression of the disease to severe grade. ; 2. Admission to ICU . ; ; 3. Need for mechanical ventilation. ; 4. In‐hospital mortalityTimepoint: At every week SECONDARY OUTCOME: when Patient becomes asymptomatic .Timepoint: At 2 to 4 weeks INCLUSION CRITERIA: All patients above the age of 14 years both males and females, admitted with a diagnosis of mild or moderate COVID ‐19 (on the basis of a positive RT‐PCR report) at our facility during the study period (01/09/2020‐31/12/2020)
