Homoeopathy treatment of conjunctivitis

INTERVENTION: Intervention1: Individualized homoeopathic medicine in centesimal potency: 4 pills of indicated homoeopathic medicine to be taken orally three times a day for 2 days Control Intervention1: Amoxicillin 500: 01 tablet/BD/ to be taken orally for 5 days CONDITION: Health Condition 1: H102‐ Other acute conjunctivitis PRIMARY OUTCOME: 1 Severe Allergic Ocular Disease score ; 2 Numerical Rating score for pain ; Timepoint: Baseline, 3rd day ,7th day,14th day,21st day SECONDARY OUTCOME: To assess the efficacy of Homoeopathic medicine as compared to control ; group.Timepoint: after 21 days INCLUSION CRITERIA: Patients aged 18‐65 years Both genders Patients presenting with clinical symptoms of conjunctivitis redness irritation discharges excess tears itching dryness burning swelling in eyelids with or without history of fever Patients willing to give written informed consent to participate in the study
