Social media (SM) has revolutionized recruitment and talent acquisition through digital innovation. This research was conducted to investigate digital transformation in the hiring process using a systematic literature review. The study examined 62 articles published between 2009 and 2024, collected through the Scopus database. The study focused on high-quality journals (Q1 and Q2) following the PRISMA framework with clear Inclusion and exclusion criteria. The articles were collected from the Scopus database. We employed the TCCM framework in this study to conduct a systematic analysis and identify critical research needs. The findings of the Content Analysis revealed themes like SM Screening, SM Branding, SM Recruitment Platforms, and the application of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in Recruitment. Also, findings show that LinkedIn remains the most dominant platform. The study's originality lies in the integration of mapping the platform diversity, gaps in the methodologies, and theoretical bias, offering a comprehensive understanding of Social Media hiring. Despite prior studies, this study provides enhanced insights for recruiters, hiring managers, job seekers, and organizational stakeholders regarding social media recruiting patterns, offering a better grasp and detailed analysis.
