Thompson, “Non-Recurrent Laryngeal Nerve: Surgical Risk of Injury in Comparison With the Normal Recurrent Laryngeal Nerve—A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis,” Clinical Otolaryngology 50, no. 4 (2025): 654–663, https://doi.org/10.1111/coa.14312. In the Discussion section, second paragraph of ‘Incidence of Injury to the NRLN Compared to RLN’, the sentence, ‘Five studies provided data of post-operative condition for patients with RLN as the control group and were included in the risk ratio analysis, as presented in Figure 4.’ was incorrect. The correct sentence should be ‘Five studies provided data of post-operative condition for patients with RLN as the control group and were included in the risk ratio analysis, as presented in Figure 3.’. In addition, in the first paragraph of ‘Risk of NRLN Injury’, the sentences ‘Figure 5 presents the overall pooled risk of NRLN injury.’ and ‘Moreover, asymmetry seen in Figure 6 and a Egger's test result…’ were incorrect. The correct sentences should be ‘Figure 4 presents the overall pooled risk of NRLN injury.’ and ‘Moreover, asymmetry seen in Figure 5 and a Egger's test result…’.
