Comparison of Tooth Movement Speed Using Conventional Method and Minor Bone Surgery (Corticotomy) During Braces Treatment

INTERVENTION: Intervention1: corticotomy assited orthodontics: Corticotomy‐assisted orthodontic canine retraction will be performed using fixed orthodontic appliance therapy. Selective alveolar corticotomy will be carried out on one side of the arch (split‐mouth design), followed by canine retraction using NiTi closed coil springs delivering standardized force Control Intervention1: conventional orthodontic treatment for canine retraction: Conventional orthodontic canine retraction will be performed on the contralateral side without corticotomy using fixed orthodontic appliance therapy and NiTi closed coil springs delivering standardized force. CONDITION: Health Condition 1: K088‐ Other specified disorders of teethand supporting structures PRIMARY OUTCOME: Rate of canine retractionTimepoint: Before and after 4 months of canine retraction starts SECONDARY OUTCOME: Root resorptionTimepoint: Before and after 4 months of canine retraction starts INCLUSION CRITERIA: Minimum age of 15 years at the start of treatment. Indication for bilateral upper first premolar extraction. Presence of full permanent dentition up to second molars.
