A Clinical Trial to test a turmeric based product (Curenext) in treating gum disease

INTERVENTION: Intervention1: Curcumin: Topical agent on gums. One centimeter of the agent expressed from the provided tube to be applied on the gums and rubbed for a minute, twice a day. Dose of product as per manufacturers instruction. Control Intervention1: Placebo: Same as test substance without the active agent curcumin. Topical agent on gums. CONDITION: Gingivitis PRIMARY OUTCOME: Interleukin 1 Beta levels in gingival crevicular fluid after application of test and control in an experimental gingivitis model.‐‐‐‐‐‐Timepoint: 8th day SECONDARY OUTCOME: Clinical healing.
