Background and aim: the success of restorative methods, the patient’s age and the maxillary growth design must be considered when planning treatment. The aim of this systematic review and meta-analysis was Formulation of treatment plan in pediatric dental implant patients: A Systematic Review and meta-analysis. Method: MEDLINE, PubMed, Cochrane Library, Embase, ISI, google scholar were used as electronic databases to perform a systematic literature 2005 to 2019. A commercially available software program (Endnote X9) was used for electronic title management. Searches were performed with keywords, “implant”, “Dental implant”,” Maxilla”,” mandible”, “implant loss” “children”, “pediatric”, “growing patients”. The main strategy of present systematic review was developed based on the PICOS model (patients, interventions, comparisons, outcomes and types of study). Result: A total of 163 potentially relevant titles and abstracts were found during the electronic and manual search. Finally, a total of four publications fulfilled the inclusion criteria required for this systematic review. The survival rate of complications related to the placement of dental implants analyzed due to the considerable heterogeneity found (I2 = 84.6%; P =0.000) and the meta-analysis showed ES 33.829 (95% CI: 27.523 – 40.135). Conclusion: Systematic planning of treatment can lead to desired esthetic and functional results. Keywords:.
