Kaposi's sarcoma after immunosuppressive therapy for bullous pemphigoid.

Immunosuppressed patients are at risk of acquiring Kaposi's sarcoma. We describe a 86-year-old man who was receiving steroid therapy for bullous pemphigoid and rapidly developed Kaposi's Sarcoma. The authors review and discuss the role of acquired immunosuppression in the pathogenesis of Kaposi's sarcoma.
