Efficacy of ultrasound-guided erector spinae plane block for analgesia after laparoscopic cholecystectomy: a Randomized controlled trial

INTERVENTION: Intervention1: erector spinae block: 20 ml of 0.25% bupivacaine given as erector spinae block under ultrasound guidance at beginning of surgery pre intubation and patient will be followed up for 24 hrs Control Intervention1: port site infiltration: 10 ml of 0.25% bupivacaine given as port site infiltration at the end of surgery and patient will be followed up for 24 hrs. CONDITION: Health Condition 1: K87‐ Disorders of gallbladder, biliarytract and pancreas in diseases classified elsewhere Health Condition 2: O‐ Medical and Surgical PRIMARY OUTCOME: The primary outcome is to assess the total tramadol doses consumed in the first 24 hrs postoperatively.Timepoint: At the end of 24 hrs SECONDARY OUTCOME: Comparing the duration of effective analgesia ; Timepoint: Duration is the time from completion of surgery to the point of first post operative pain. Distribution of VAS SCORETimepoint: 0th,2nd,6th,12th, and 24hrs. INCLUSION CRITERIA: ASA I & II AGE: 18‐75 yrs
