CRD SUMMARY: This review evaluated the effects of resistance training on resting blood-pressure in healthy adults. The authors concluded that resistance training could be included in interventions to prevent and treat hypertension, but further research was required. The limited search, lack of a validity assessment and poor reporting of review methods make it difficult to assess the reliability of the authors' conclusions.
